Meet the Board

  • Dr Tim Turner

    CHAIRPERSON

    Dr Tim Turner is a retired senior information technology professional with three ongoing non-executive director roles in related non-government organisations, the company secretary to a small non-profit Indigenous children’s education charity, and sits on two management committee positions in professional associations.

    During his career, Tim held executive roles in the university sector, specifically Deputy Head of School in the largest school in UNSW, where he led the delivery of accredited IT and engineering programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He had senior management roles in the federal government and an extensive management consulting career to the highest levels of government in Australia and overseas on complex matters, predominantly around information technology strategy and its alignment with business strategy. Tim’s PhD developed a theory of e-government service design grounded in his experience and that of Australian governments at the Federal, State and Local levels.

  • Professor Cori Stewart

    NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Professor Cori Stewart is a skilled and versatile science and technology commercialisation leader, who works in executive and advisor roles across industry, government, and the research sector. She is passionate about driving impact through university and industry collaboration and building strategic and trusted collaborations in Australia and across the globe.

    As the Founder and CEO of the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing (ARM) Hub, Cori has built an Australian-first not-for-profit technology commercialisation company. ARM Hub has nurtured hundreds of businesses to validate, commercialise and modernise using cutting-edge technologies, design thinking, new IP and workforce development strategies in defence, energy, medical, resources, agriculture sectors and more. 

    Cori is a current Board member of the Australian Government’s Industry Innovation Science Australia Board and of the Queensland Manufacturing Institute. She graduated as one of Australia’s 2023 & 2024 ‘Superstars of STEM’ where she continues to lift the profile of women and science in our communities.

  • Reuben Bettle

    NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Reuben Bettle is an experienced technology leader with more than 30 years’ expertise in digital transformation across public and private sectors. He is currently Director for Federal Government at a leading Australian ICT services firm, where since 2020 he has driven major modernisation initiatives with speed and precision.

    Reuben has a strong record helping government and essential services adopt automation, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and resilience. He previously served as IBM’s Director for Federal Government, negotiating its Whole of Government agreement and helping establish national platforms of significance critical to Australian citizens and businesses.

    His expertise encompasses cloud-native transformation, AI and data, secure edge computing, IoT, and systems integration — capabilities essential to the future of manufacturing. He has deep experience working with government stakeholders and delivering outcomes in regulated environments.

    Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at CSIRO and on various Olympic technology teams, delivering real-time systems for three Olympic Games — experiences that shaped his focus on precision, resilience, and collaboration.
